2. Your rights under GDPR
Where the GDPR applies, you may have the following rights in relation to your data:
- Right of access (Art. 15) — request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16) — correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure (Art. 17) — ask us to delete data where conditions are met.
- Right to restriction (Art. 18) — limit how we use your data in certain cases.
- Right to data portability (Art. 20) — receive data you provided in a machine-readable format, where processing is based on consent or contract and is automated.
- Right to object (Art. 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
3. How to exercise your rights
Email barbora@recberry.com from the address you used when contacting us (if any) and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling it. We will respond within one month unless the law allows an extension, in which case we will inform you.
4. Supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement. In the Czech Republic, the competent authority is the Office for Personal Data Protection (UOOU).
5. Automated decision-making
valkyra presents algorithmically generated safety-oriented explanations based on public profile information you provide. This is assistive information for caregivers, not a legally significant decision about you under Article 22 GDPR. You remain responsible for decisions regarding a child's online safety.
